I mention this because I may be a little more critical of services than most. I should mention that I am a former hotel person myself. His exuberance does the hotel a great service. Vincent, of course, is the star down in the lobby. So kudos to hiring the right people and training them to do their jobs well. I always believe that you can always train someone to do a certain task/job, but you really can't train someone to have a good attitude. Lastly, I have to say, nearly everyone we came in contact with was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We also booked a couple's massage - which we felt a bit guilty doing as it seemed like spoiling ourselves during a very sad time - but I must mention that both of the gentlemen (whose names I unfortunately have forgotten) were excellent. We rode bicycles both mornings and sat by the pool for most of the day. We have dined in Fresh Salt many times and the food (taste and presentation) is always exceptional. We dined in Fresh Salt both nights (and once while at the pool), and with one small exception of an over-cooked burger (which was comped even though I ate it), both dinners were very good. The room itself (bed/shower/sitting area/balcony) was very nice and well maintained. We considered not coming, as we did not feel at all like celebrating, but at the very last minute, decided to come, as sitting in our house was far worse. Tragically, Cody passed away the day prior to our arrival. I was initially coming to the hotel with my husband and our beloved dog, Cody, for a couple of days to celebrate my birthday.
